Our Story
Our passion with Mustangs started over 25 years ago at the Somernats 10 where we saw an amazing Midnight Blue 1965 Coupe called 'The Captains Rat', voted Top 10 Street Machine in 1991. My wife and I could not move away from this car. We made a decision that this was our next cruiser.

Since 1991 I must have looked at 30 Mustangs and just when I was going to give up, in 2004 I saw an ad in the Trading Post.

When I saw the car, I immediatley recognised her. It was the very same car we fell in love with over 13 years ago - a little worse for wear but all there. With some hard work and with the help of West Ryde Smash Repairs we brought her back to where you see her today.

Since 2004 my goal was to get a Convertible, so in 2012 the search began. Again I checked out over 20 cars and settled on a 1966 Silver Blue A Code with White Pony Interior (described as a true survivor). Originally from Arizona USA, the body was perfect - solid and straight - but needed a full resotration. My son and I flew to Melbourne and drove the old girl home that night. She purred at 55 MPH from Melbourne to Sydney only stopping for fuel.
We drove her for the summer and then stripped it down and the rebuild commenced. Once again we undertook the services of West Ryde Smash Repairs. All new chrome, interior and a full respray - we restored this old girl to as new showroom condition. We are so proud of this restoration and she is such a fun car to drive.

Next is a 1965 Fast Back GT
